What are 'Lab Grown' Diamonds?
Our diamonds are “above ground, lab grown” using a proprietary process that simulates the natural creation of diamonds but in a pollution free lab environment. That means our stones can be made perfect every time making our diamonds superior to mined diamonds in every way. Using state of the art technologies like HPHT*, CVD*, and SiC* we can create a diamond that is so similar to mined diamonds that diamond testing tools, like those found in most jewelry stores, cannot tell the difference.
When measured by the 4Cs our diamond quality is immediately apparent.
Measuring by the 4Cs
1st C - Color
Due to being made in a controlled lab environment, ellove diamonds are not polluted with unwanted color, giving the highest light refraction possible in a diamond. ellove diamonds are always colorless.
2nd C - Clarity
Because our diamonds are grown in a lab, free of the natural pollutants that mined diamonds are exposed to, so our diamonds are usually ranked IF or VV1. The highest clarity rankings.
3rd C - Cut
ellove Diamonds are cut with computers and lasers giving the highest light refraction index scores for diamonds because “1/1,000mm matters”.
4th C - Carat Weight
Historically the highest cost determining factor is the size of your diamond, ellove believes bigger is better. Our largest diamonds start at only 2% the cost of traditional mined diamonds*. Because ellove diamonds are made using a proprietary process that allows us to grow any size diamond in fractions of the time it takes to mine one and sell them at significantly reduced costs. So we say: ‘Get the bigger one’.
